Commissions

Your subject. Your story. One original painting.

Commissioning a painting is simpler than most people expect. Here is exactly how it works — and the kind of briefs past clients have brought to the studio.

  1. 1

    Share your story

Send your photographs — of your pet, your family, or a place you love — along with any colour or style inspiration. Screenshots of other artworks are welcome as inspiration references.

  2. 2

    Receive a personal quote

Every piece is priced individually based on size, complexity and detail. Nicola replies personally with a quote, a proposed composition and an honest timeframe. There is no obligation.

  3. 3

    Approve the direction

Before painting begins, you approve the composition and palette. Nothing proceeds until you are confident in the direction.

  4. 4

    Watch it come to life

Progress updates are shared at key stages, so you can see your painting develop and request small adjustments along the way.

  5. 5

    Receive your original

Your finished painting is varnished, carefully packaged and delivered ready to hang — a one-of-a-kind original, made for you alone.
